BASS Island Line says it has started a review of its shipping schedule in line with a “commitment to continually improve our service”.
According to the Line, discussions have begun with key customers and stakeholders.
“We look forward to reviewing all feedback and making schedule adjustments accordingly,” BIL said in a statement. BIL has just begun operating a service between King Island, Bell Bay and Geelong.
BIL is also in the process of installing an equipment storage shelter at the port of Grassy at King Island.
“Installation of the new equipment storage shelter at Grassy port is progressing well,” BIL stated. “The structure is now erected and being utilised.”
The new shelter is to allow TasPorts to store valuable stevedoring equipment out of the weather and provide better working conditions for staff.
