Container Transport Alliance Australia is to a forum in Melbourne to showcase business and technology solutions aimed at boosting container logistics chain productivity, cutting costs and boosting safety.
Chain of Responsibility road safety laws are to be more stringent from 1 October, affecting all parties in the container transport logistics chain.
Higher costs and container volume growth through the Port of Melbourne also mean more demand for higher productivity and business improvement.
The Forum is to be held at Kooringal Golf Club, Altona on the morning of Wednesday August 29.
