A NEW 13,000m2 warehouse and ‘order fulfilment facility’ has been announced by eStore Logistics for Melbourne’s west.

The store is to be built at 61 Australis Drive, Derrimut and features 12,500 pallet positions, 18,000 pick bin locations, modern security and 45-plus high resolution video surveillance cameras with round-the-clock recording.

According to eStore, the warehouse has been designed for safe storage, alongside fast and accurate dispatch of goods.

“The facility will service multiple clients, some of which are well known Australian eCommerce businesses,” an eStore statement reads.

“At peak season eStore Logistics will fulfil over 8000 orders per day from the new warehouse. This increases eStore Logistics’ total daily fulfilment capacity to approximately 45,000 orders per day.”

According to the company, eStore has invested heavily in building a strong platform for growth.

“Years of eCommerce logistics business optimisation has enabled eStore Logistics to respond to strong eCommerce sales growth in Australia,” the company stated.

“Over the last 24 months eStore Logistics has acquired many new eCommerce and omni-channel clients and existing clients have continued to grow.

“Business optimisation and growth have been the main drivers for the requirement to open this additional warehousing facility.”
