ORGANISERS of the annual TWUSUPER Golf Day say they are on track to break participation records.
Hosted by the Victorian Transport Association, the event is set for Monday November 13.
The VTA says it can still accommodate additional teams and individual players.
“We’d love to have more new faces attend this enjoyable event, which is a great opportunity to play on one of Melbourne’s most challenging golf courses and network and do business with other transport industry representatives,” said VTA chief executive Peter Anderson.
“Commonwealth Golf Club is regarded by golfing enthusiasts as one of the finest in the country and we are pleased that the TWUSUPER Golf Day is able to return to Commonwealth for the third consecutive year.
“Located in the Melbourne Sandbelt, the stunning course has hosted the Australian Open, Women’s Australian Open and Victorian Open.”
The day starts at 11am with a light lunch before tee-off and ends with drinks and dinner in the Clubhouse.
There will be plenty of activities, with prizes for men and women, including nearest the pins, longest drives and beating the Pro.
Registration costs are $300 per individual or $1000 per team of four.
