ARTIFICIAL intelligence and its impact upon the supply chain is to be discussed during a ‘Thought Leadership’ event run by the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (Victoria/Tasmania branch).
To be held on May 16 in Elizabeth Street, Melbourne CBD, the event is to feature speakers Dr Simon Dunstall from the CSIRO, head of AI and cognitive business at CBA Dheeren Velu and Opturion chief executive Alan Dormer.
According to SCLAA, as the supply chain and logistics industry moves toward a fully digital, data-driven future, artificial intelligence has begun to make its presence felt.
“Still, public understanding of (AI) concepts is limited and the impact on the way we understand our world today is currently being debated intensely,” SCLAA said in a statement.
