PREMIER Will Hodgman’s Liberal government emerged triumphant in the Tasmanian state election on the weekend, beating off a challenge from the Rebecca White-led Labor Party.
The Liberals have been confirmed as winning at least 13 seats in the 25-seat house, giving them enough seats to govern in their own right.
While economic competence was seen as an advantage for the government, the campaign itself did not focus heavily upon infrastructure issues.

The Jacqui Lambie Network, led by the former senator of the same name, failed to win a seat.
