LINX Cargo Care Group has partnered with Supercars to help transport cars across Australia for the 2018 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.
Autocare, part of LINX, is to be the official logistics partner of the Vodafone Safety, Medical and Course Cars to deliver them to each event on the Supercars calendar.
LINX Cargo Care Group CEO Anthony Jones said the team was excited about the partnership.
“Ensuring these vehicles are delivered in perfect condition for each race is exactly what we do for our thousands of Autocare customers every day across Australia,” he said.
“As with Supercars, what we do is about so much more than the people who drive the vehicles; it’s about looking out for each other and working together to keep everyone safe – safety is a choice that we all must consciously make, and should not be left to chance.”
Supercars general manager – commercial Jamie Black said the Safety Medical and Course Cars play a critical role at the events.
Having Autocare and the LINX Cargo Care Group on board to help deliver these vehicles to each of our events is great news for our category,” Black said.
Autocare is to join Supercars at the next event, the WD-40 Phillip Island 500 from 20-22 April, before a trip across the country to Western Australia for the Perth SuperSprint from 4-6 May.
