THE Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australia (CBFCA) has announced the appointment of Scott Carson as its new finance and administration manager.
Mr Carson has close to 30 years’ experience in the international and domestic logistics services industry in both Sydney and Brisbane. He has held finance, operational and senior management positions.
“I’m looking forward to having a positive impact in the financial and commercial area within the CBFCA and connecting with its members,” Mr Carson said.
His appointment follows Paul Damkjaer’s start as the CBFCA’s new CEO, and the attendant move of the Council’s headquarters from Brisbane to Sydney.
Mr Carson is scheduled to take up his new role on August 28.
