THE PORT Authority of New South Wales has appointed Jeanine Drummond to be the new harbour master for Newcastle and Yamba.

Ms Drummond is currently the deputy harbour master for Sydney and general manager operations, a post she has held since 2016.

She told Daily Cargo News she was excited to be commencing her new role in mid-August.
