ANL’s parent company, CMA CGM, has announced the start of the Ocean Alliance Day Two Product, a new offering comprising 41 services over seven trades, 331 containerships and a capacity of 3.1m TEU.
CMA CGM will deploy 121 of the containerships as part of the Ocean Alliance, which also includes COSCO, Evergreen and OOCL.
The new offering includes 20 transpacific services, four transatlantic services, six Asia-North Europe services, four Asia-Mediterranean services, five Asia-Middle East Gulf services and two Asia-Red Sea services.
The Ocean Alliance Day Two Product provides an increased coverage of the East Coast of the US with a new service called “Independence Bridge”.
It also offers a direct service from North China and South Korea to the Red Sea.
Ocean Alliance Lines senior vice-president Olivier Nivoix expressed his pleasure in the launch of the new product.
