Ocean Network Express has announced an enhanced South Pacific Service connecting North Asia and the Pacific Islands with the launch of new ‘Loop C’.
Loop C is to offer direct access to and from Kaohsiung, Qingdao, Xingang in addition to the current Loop A and Loop B services.
According to ONE, the new service structure provides “the most competitive container shipping services in this trade lane with weekly frequency and variety of port coverage”.
“It will also improve the network connectivity and transit time to/from other ports via transhipment at Pusan, through ONE’s global network service covering over 200 major ports,” the company said in a statement.
The first vessel is to be the New Guinea Chief which is expected to arrive at Pusan on 4 October.
