1-STOP Connections announced it was selected by Patrick to provide a software system to manage bookings, inventory management, reporting, stack runs and electronic import delivery orders.
The system, 1-Stop Modal, is to connect Patrick Terminals Auto-Strads exchange and TOS, ensuring messages are transferred between the systems, making the park more efficient.
Patrick is to implement the system for its container terminals at East Swanson, Fremantle, Port Botany and Port of Brisbane.
East Swanson is slated to be the first to go live in the second quarter of this year, followed by Fremantle, Sydney and Brisbane.
Modal, is expected to streamline processes and information flow for shipping lines and transport carriers, reduce manual paper work, increase truck turnaround times, and increase container output.
1-Stop CEO Michael Bouari said the goal behind developing Modal was to use the latest technology to deliver an integrated and real-time product that makes life simple for the community.
“[Modal] uses our platform intelligence to automate supply chain activity and [is] blockchain ready for tomorrow,” he said.
