DALENE Wray has been announced as the winner of this year’s Chief Executive Women (CEW) Austrade Women in Export Scholarship.
Ms Wray is Managing Director of OBE Organic, an Australian company specialising in organic beef, and has pioneered sustainability and disease management programs, aimed at boosting farmer productivity, improving animal health and welfare and reducing supply chain waste.
Minister for trade Steven Ciobo said OBE Organic exemplified an Australian business using innovation to improve its products and connect with customers around the world.
“Ms Wray will attend Harvard Business School’s Disruptive Innovation – Strategies for a Successful Enterprise course in Boston, Massachusetts, next month,” Mr Ciobo said.
“The Scholarship, offered in partnership between Austrade and CEW, supports women leaders at critical junctures in their careers.”
The Export Council of Australia congratulated Ms Wray, a member of ECA, on winning the scholarship.
