A SURPLUS of $2.26bn was reported in November by way of the trade in Australian goods and services, the Australian Bureau of Statistics has revealed.

According to the ABS, in trend terms, the figure represented a decrease of $7m on the surplus in October 2018.

In seasonally adjusted terms, the balance on goods and services was a surplus of $1.93bn in November 2018, a fall of $88m on the surplus in October 2018.

In seasonally adjusted terms, goods and services credits rose $532m (1%) to $38.45bn.

Also in seasonally adjusted terms, goods and services debits rose $620m (2%) to $36.52bn.
