IRClass’s ERS will provide round-the-clock technical aid to vessels such as oil tankers, bulk carriers and containerships, all included in the contract.

“This contract highlights IRClass’ growing portfolio of offering value added, beyond class services,” Mr Venugopal said.

The tech services allow for a quick assessment of intact/damage stability and longitudinal strength following grounding, collision, fire or any circumstance that could jeopardise the functionality of a vessel.

After taking into account numerous stability and global/local factors, the IRClass team of professionals use the vessel data and a 3D hull model to inform clientele of the condition of the vessel and offer appropriate advice to staff for correcting any damages.
