AS THE small business start-up market booms, U-freight Group has developed a so-called e+ Solutions service that equips start-ups with comprehensive e-commerce logistics.

U-Freight Group chief executive officer Simon Wong said the concept was important in meeting customer demand.

“We are seeing a growth in the number of online channels and platforms dedicated to e-commerce, which small entrepreneurs are using to sell their own designs and products,” Mr Wong said.

Sourced from U-Freight’s e-commerce fulfilment centre in Hong Kong, the e-commerce service package aims to provide product storage space, system interrogation, order processing, end-to-end data transparency and delivery service to customers.

Data transparency is said to have become a selling point for small businesses, as live inventory updates, web and phone access and status and delivery updates make shipping logistics easily accessible.

“Competition in logistics is fierce,” Mr Wong said. “Finding and capitalising on niche sectors of the business is key to success.”

To further the instantaneous features of the e-commerce service package, U-Freight enacted push notifications on order status and a “live chat” facility for customer service.

“e+ Solutions has been a fundamental characteristic of U-Freight Group during our 50-year history,” Mr Wong said.
