AFTER making its maiden call in Auckland on a 118-night World Cruise from Italy, MSC Magnifica recently reached the mighty city of Sydney.

Guests on board were able to select from a signature menu designed by Serge Dansereau of Sydney’s highly-acclaimed restaurant The Bathers’ Pavilion.

This visit from MSC Cruises, the Swiss-based world’s largest privately-owned cruise line, marks the second time the company has brought one of its cruise ships to Australia, with MSC Orchestra having visited in 2015.

“We are honoured to welcome MSC Magnifica to Australia. At MSC Cruises we are committed to continuously enrich itineraries for our guests, allowing them to discover new destinations and cultures in a unique way,” managing director of MSC Cruises Australia and New Zealand Alessandro Guerreri said.

MSC Magnifica made its maiden call in Melbourne on 21 March before an expected docking date in Fremantle early this week.
