FLINDERS Ports Holdings has opted to keep its head office in the heart of Port Adelaide for up to 15 years.

Flinders Ports Holdings chief executive, Stewart Lammin, said the company had signed a lease on its newly renovated building at 296 St Vincent Street until 2029.

It has also negotiated the right to renew its lease for a further five years beyond that time.

The company has been at its current offices since 1996 and more than 70 staff work there.

Flinders Port Holdings is South Australia’s leading port services group.

“The heart of our business lies in the heart of Port Adelaide so we’re extremely pleased to be able to stay in our current location and continue to contribute to the economic and social renewal of the Port precinct by supporting the employment of thousands of South Australians,” Mr Lammin said.

“Shipping has been the lifeblood of the LeFevre Peninsula since the earliest days of South Australia and with strengthening trade activity and the Commonwealth’s enormous investment in maritime defence at Techport, Port Adelaide faces one of the most exciting periods in its history.”

The re-leasing of the 2300m2 offices was negotiated by Michael Rouvray of MRS Property Services.

Renovations were done by the Shape Group.
