INFRASTRUCTURE South Australia chief executive Jeremy Conway is to be the guest speaker at a lunch in Adelaide on 25 July.

The lunch has been organised by the International Cargo Handling Coordination Association of Australia and is to be held at The Lakes Resort Hotel, West Lakes.

Mr Conwway is responsible for producing the state’s first 20-year Infrastructure Strategy, as well as providing advice to the state government on key projects and prioritisation.

Previously he was the general manager, commercial and legal in the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure where he was responsible for building commercial capability within the department and managing legal and legislative services.

He also oversaw several strategic projects and chaired the department’s Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Steering Committee.

He is said to have “vast commercial and business experience” from having worked in property development at Places Victoria for three years and in private equity CVC Capital Partners in London for nine years.
