TED LANGE, best known for his role of Isaac Washington, the cocktail maker and confidant on the television series The Love Boat, has arrived in Sydney to celebrate the return of Princess Cruises’ Pacific Princess to Australia.

The December 2020 arrival of the 670-guest Pacific Princess in Sydney will coincide with the 45th anniversary of Princess Cruises’ first roundtrip cruise from Australia. The voyage was made on the original Pacific Princess which was the ship that starred in The Love Boat.

“I’m so excited to return to Australia. I first fell in love with the country while I was filming an episode of The Love Boat in Sydney back in the 1980s,” Mr Lange said.

“Two of my Love Boat co-stars, Gavin MacLeod who played Captain Stubing and Lauren Tewes who played Julie McCoy have both also travelled Down Under since the show – Australia holds a special place in our hearts.”

The Pacific Princess program includes a 90-day round trip voyage from Sydney around South America and a 13-night cruise visiting ports on New Zealand’s North and South Islands and a special 21-night sailing to remote locations in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
