E-COMMERCE business eStore Logistics has announced two concurrent industrial property commitments in the western Melbourne suburb of Truganina.

Totalling 35,000-square-metres, eStore teamed up with property and supply chain business TM Insight in designing and sourcing the new sites.

The largest of eStore’s two sites is a long-term lease on a new 26,000sqm facility with Dexus at Felstead Drive, Truganina.

The facility is within Dexus’s premium industrial estate, Foundation at Truganina.

The property is to feature designed column grids to maximise storage capacity, drive-around access, a large super-canopy, a number of environmentally sustainable design initiatives and eStore’s new national head office.

Founder and managing director of eStore Leigh Williams said Australian e-commerce and omni-channel retail continued to grow.

“We are experiencing this with our existing clients and we’re keen to make our warehousing and fulfilment services available to as many Australian businesses as possible,” Mr Williams said.

“In doing so we are expanding the business by taking long term leases on these two additional fulfilment centres and implementing new fulfilment technology.”

TM Insight property director Nathan Bingham said they had secured more than 100,000 square metres of space around Australia since 2012.

“This speaks to the growth of ecommerce in Australia, but also eStore’s leading service in online fulfilment,” Mr Bingham said.

eStore has also concurrently committed to a five-year lease for a 8383sqm development with Goodman within its West Industry Park estate in Truganina.

The company is to start operations immediately from the facility at 16 Vulcan Drive, Truganina.

“Both these facilities in the booming logistics landscape of Melbourne’s western suburbs will help eStore expand their operations,” Mr Bingham said. The new commitments are expected to complement eStore’s new warehouse at Marsden Park, New South Wales.
