ANL has confirmed it is adding the North Queensland port of Townsville to its Asia – PNG calling points.

“ANL is pleased to confirm our commitment to North Queensland / Papua New Guinea to take over the Townsville calls that we pioneered in 2017,” the statement read.

The first sailing is to depart Port Kelang on 15 October and arrive Townsville on 7 November.

The new service is expected to provide “a regular and reliable 22-day transit from Port Kelang with two calls per month”.

“North Queensland exporters can now take advantage of ANL’s express service to Port Kelang and Singapore with a transit time of only 12 days,” the statement read.
