NSW PORTS has announced that two of the precincts within the Enfield Intermodal Logistics Centre were recently awarded the NSW Master Builders Association ‘Excellence in Construction’ Award for Industrial Buildings.

Recognised by the judges for their exemplary client-centric design, high end architectural finishes and bespoke features, Precincts C & F include industrial warehousing, office space and work areas and are complete with sustainable design features such as rainwater collection tans, solar hot water systems, LED lighting and strategic landscaping with indigenous plants and trees and more.

The winning facilities are occupied by a range of food preparation, packaging, design and manufacturing companies, which benefit from Enfield Intermodal Logistics Centre’s close proximity to Sydney’s CBD and are direct freight rail links to Port Botany.

NSW Ports said in a statement, “Congratulations to our partners Richard Crooks Construction, and Goodman Group who we have collaborated with us to drive the development of Enfield into the thriving logistics centre it is today”.
