EIGHT new hybrid rubber-tired gantries are helping international Container Terminal Services in its push for environmentally sustainable technology at its Manila International Container Terminal.

Built by Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding of Japan, the Mitsui Li-ion Hybrid RTGs are expected to cut emissions by more than 50% compared with the previous RTGs.

Based in 1988 in Manila, Philippines, International Container Terminal Services is in the business of port development, management and operations and runs Victoria International Container Terminal in Melbourne.
