HIGHLIGHTING the vital role of maritime trade is a key focus of Flinders Port Holdings entering a float in this year’s National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant in Adelaide.
The pageant starts at 9:30am on Saturday 8 November, with the golden whistle blowing to signal the beginning of the event.
Since 1933, the Christmas Pageant has been the traditional start to the Christmas season in South Australia, with thousands of people, young and old, lining the city streets.
In a social media post, FPH said they were “thrilled to finally unveil our FPH float”.
According to FPH, the float “celebrates the vital role maritime trade plays in bringing festive joy, and presents, to South Australians each year”.
“Our float is particularly special—it's the first custom-built float to join the pageant in five years, proudly featuring a replica of one of our Pilot boats, alongside a crew of straddle carriers, containers, and FPH elves ticking off Christmas gifts,” the FPH stated.
“The blue fabric ruffle below adds the perfect finishing touch, creating the illusion of the Pilot Boat gliding through water.”
FPH this week officially launched the float down at Outer Harbor, with some of their FPH elves reportedly joining the fun.
