MINISTER for Trade, Tourism and Investment Dan Tehan has congratulated the 89 businesses announced today as finalists in this year’s Australian Export Awards.

“These exporters are taking Australian innovation onto the world stage, supporting jobs and economic growth,” Mr Tehan said.

“They are showcasing the best of Australian agriculture, tech, services and talent internationally.”

Mr Tehan said together, the finalists employ more than 17,700 people and have delivered $6.2 billion to the economy.

“Australia applauds each and every entrant in this year’s awards and we look forward to celebrating their incredible achievements at the Australian Export Awards,” he said.

The 89 finalists, from each state and territory, are in the running to win the Australian Exporter of the Year, which will be chosen from 13 category awards,

The annual Australian Export and Investment Awards program is presented by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), in collaboration with the states and territories.
