GLADSTONE Ports Corporation’s Marina joins 250 others across the world with global accreditation after retaining its four Gold Anchor status.

Being in the top 80%, GPC’s Marina was credited with excellent facilities, great staff attitude and pristine parklands to enjoy while visiting.

Marina Industries Association CEO, Colin Bransgrove said the Gold Anchor assessment of Gladstone Marina highlighted its functionality and appeal as a user-friendly marina.

“Customer service is a key focus of the Global Gold Anchor program,” Mr Bransgrove said.

“The survey of berth holders for example indicated a high level of satisfaction with the marina staff and the cleanliness of the marina amenities.

“Global Gold Anchor accreditation also provides a road map for marina development, over the past four years the Gladstone Marina has been strategic in the use of the Gold Anchor assessment criteria to inform its planning and investment.”

GPC acting CEO, Craig Walker said he was extremely proud of the Marina team for their efforts towards the re-accreditation.

“We are so proud of our marina and parkland facilities,” Mr Walker said.

“As custodians of the foreshore, we are committed and proud to provide these areas and maintain at such a high standard for the enjoyment of our community and visitors.
