NORTON White has announced the appointment of Adam Martin, formerly chief legal officer of Toll Group, to lead the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice and to contribute to future strategic direction.

Mr Martin, an expert in logistics, transport and international trade law was responsible for overseeing and managing the legal aspects of Toll Group’s global expansion, including mergers and acquisitions and new entity establishments.

Following his commencement this month as a partner at Norton White, Mr Martin will be based in Melbourne providing a strengthened presence for the firm in Victoria.

Commenting on the appointment, senior partner Mark Mackrell said Mr Martin’s commencement was extremely significant, broadening the firm’s capabilities and service offerings for existing clients and signalling Norton White’s intent to expand a regional presence.
