PARLIAMENT House, Canberra, was the setting for an evening cocktail function organised by Ports Australia.

Attending were a host of ports representatives as well as politicians from across the political spectrum.


Among the senior politicians who attended were Deputy Prime Minister and infrastructure minister Michael McCormack, Labor transport spokesman Glenn Sterle and Senators Pauline Hanson and Jacqui Lambie.

Deputy PM McCormack formally welcomed delegates to the event, reflecting upon the importance of ports to Australia’s economic health.
