A.P. Moller-Maersk has announced its appointment of chief financial officer as Patrick Jany who is also a member of the executive board.

Mr Jany who is a German citizen, has had an extensive career within finance and business process optimisation as CFO and member of the executive committee of Clariant AG, Switzerland. He will assume responsibility as CFO of A.P. Moller – Maersk from 1 May 2020.

Prior to his role as CFO, Patrick Jany held several leadership positions within finance, general management and corporate development in Clariant in Germany, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia and Spain.
