THE Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia is holding its annual Sparkling High Tea Supporting Women in Supply Chain and Logistics, on 2 July 2021 at NSW Parliament House on Macquarie Street, Sydney.

The event is designed to inspire, connect and support individuals and companies committed to gender equality in the workplace.

SCLAA vice chair and managing director of Chain Consulting, Sue Tomic, said, “Twenty-twenty challenged all of us in different ways. The focus on the importance of the freight and supply chain industry as a critical service, presents unique challenges and opportunities for women’s professional progress in this sector”.

The event will be hosted by April McElligott, supply chain and procurement specialist, with insights from Brigitte Wilson, enterprise account manager at BlueParrott.

The guest speaker is Alison Cusack, principal at law firm Cusack & Co. Also president of the association representing women in shipping, WISTA, Alison is guaranteed to entertain, enlighten and challenge with her presentation.
