A ONE-day conference highlighting latest developments and innovation in road transport is to be held in Brisbane this may.

The NatRoad one-day conference is to be held from 14-15 May 2019 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre with a line-up of more than 15 speakers.

“The possible outcomes of federal election will have a significant impact on the transport industry, and the implications of what a change of government will mean for the transport industry will be addressed at the NatRoad Conference,” NatRoad chief executive Warren Clark said.

“This conference provides an ideal opportunity to focus on some of the technological, regulatory and market-related opportunities and challenges faced by the sector. It also offers an excellent platform for industry stakeholders to meet and discuss matters of keen interest to our industry.”

NHVR chairman Duncan Gay is to deliver the opening address, with keynote speeches from Senator Glenn Sterle, Beyond Blue’s Kevin Humphreys and rugby league legend Wally Lewis. The conference is to also feature presentations from NTC productivity and safety director Mandi Mees, legal expert Gillian Bristow and chair of the HVNL Review committee Peter Harris among others.
