TOLL Group has opened a number of vaccination hubs throughout Melbourne. The program is available on a voluntary basis to all its employees, casuals, contractors and subcontractors with 3000 team members able to access first and second dose Pfizer vaccines.

The hubs have received approval from the commonwealth government and will be run by nursing, medical and support team members.

Vaccinations will be available at sites in Truganina, Altona North and at the main office in St Kilda Road over the week. Toll plans to expand the program more locations across Melbourne and other states in the coming weeks.

Toll global logistics president Peter Stokes said vaccination is one of the most important ways we can keep our people and communities safe.

“We know that accelerating the rate of vaccination is key to protecting our people and communities, as well as supporting the easing of restrictions,” he said.

“As one of Australia’s largest logistics companies, and an essential service provider, it’s important we do everything we can to support the vaccination rollout, including giving our employees priority access to vaccinations at a time and place that is convenient to them.”

In addition to the pop-up vaccination hubs, Toll Group is offering paid vaccination leave for Australian employees and a monthly vaccination reward program to acknowledge all fully vaccinated employees.
