THE NSW Government has launched a six-week public consultation period on proposed changes to state port regulation and Port Botany’s landside performance.
The update to the Regulation and current Port Botany Landside Improvement Strategy Mandatory Standards, and new Performance Benchmarks Mandatory Standards, follow recommendations from the Independent Review of the Ports and Maritime Administration Act (the Act) and Port Botany Landside Improvement Strategy (PBLIS), that require regulatory changes.
The consultation period began yesterday [20 October] and extends until 28 November.
Stakeholders are encouraged to review and provide feedback on proposed changes outlined in the:
Consultation sessions will be carried out both virtually and in person as required via group discussions and one-on-one meetings.
To participate in consultation activities on the Act or PBLIS, please submit an expression of interest by THIS Friday, 24 October.
