NAPIER Port on Friday announced three board changes.

Serving Director Rick Barker will stand down at the nnual shareholders’ meeting in December and two new directors – Kylie Clegg and Dan Druzianic – have been appointed to the board effective, 1 August.

Board chair Alasdair MacLeod said: “Rick joined the Napier Port Board in 2019 and has been a hugely valuable member. He has contributed significantly to the development of our Sustainability Committee, our focus on health and safety, and always with a strong commitment to our region and its people”.

Mr MacLeod said in line with long-standing Napier Port practice and good governance, Mr Barker will continue as a board member until the end of the year, supporting a smooth transition.

“We are delighted to have Kylie and Dan join the board. Their combined legal and commercial acumen, leadership, and governance experience across a wide range of sectors adds great value to Napier Port. We look forward to introducing them to shareholders at our annual meeting in December” Mr MacLeod said.
