WESTERN Australia’s planned new container port Westport is advertising for businesses looking to shape commercial activities at the port.

Westport's Program Management and Commercial Services Panel is now live on Tenders WA, seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) for inclusion on a Program Management and Commercial Services Panel.

A statement from Westport said this would allow businesses the opportunity to be part of shaping the future port infrastructure in Kwinana.

“The EOI is now live on Tenders WA, and will bring together suppliers from a range of service providers to establish a Program Management and Commercial Services Panel,” the statement said.

“Suppliers can apply across 15 disciplines over three categories to assist Westport in building our client-side capability, ensuring access to technical and advisory services during the definition and delivery stages of the program.

“The panel will provide opportunities for large firms to sole traders, inclusive of insourced flexible team members through to scoped consulting services, to become pre-qualified suppliers that can be engaged directly by Westport.”

Under Program Management the port is advertising for businesses involved in project management, change and quality control, interface management, reporting and scheduling, risk and opportunity management, independent governance advice, and facilitation services.

Under s heading of Commercial Services it is seeking infrastructure commercial financial and funding advisory, commercial risk, variation, cost control and performance management, business case development and supporting economic modelling and analysis and dispute resolution management.

Under Corporate Services it lists strategic review, workforce capability, change management and digital transformation.

EOIs closes on Thursday 19 March, 2.30pm (AWST).
