RECOGNISING Carnival’s ongoing partnership with The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, ‘Splashy Cove’ was officially opened by Carnival Splendor’s goddaughter and patient of The Children’s HospitaL, Matilda Jenkins in front of a crowd of staff, patients and their families.
‘Splashy Cove’ is a mini-waterpark onboard the Carnival Splendor created just for little ones with fun to be had splashing about with spray toys and mini waterslides. It’s also home to a colourful mural inspired from drawings by patients from The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Carnival has partnered with The Children’s Hospital for more than three years and has raised more than $227,800 for the hospital, supporting hard-working doctors and nurses as they care for their brave young patients.
