EMPLOYEE assistance provider Hunterlink has announced the resignation of Christine Field as its chief executive. Ms Field has been with the organisation for seven years, the past five as CEO.
In a statement from Hunterlink, Ms Field was said to have decided this was the right time to hand over to a successor, having led the organisation through a period of significant transformation and set it up well for the future.
Jake Blenkinsop is acting CEO, with support from Christine Field, while Hunterlink seeks to recruit a new CEO.
According to the Hunterlink statement, Ms Field is to "help transfer key relationships, organisational knowledge and strategic priorities, so that clients and their people experience continuity of service".
Hunterlink has cited several achievements during Ms Field’s time at the helm, including:
"Creating more conversations at a time when people are increasingly disconnected is what I have strived to achieve," Ms Field said. "One conversation or one connection can change, or save, a life. It has been a privilege to be a voice at the end of the phone and to help build an organisation with many skilled voices ready to support people through their most vulnerable moments.
"I am proud to leave Hunterlink EAP at a time of strength, and confident that new leadership can build on these foundations and take the organisation into its next chapter."
Hunterlink thanked Ms Field for "her dedication, vision and lasting impact".
"Her legacy includes a stronger operating platform, an experienced multidisciplinary team, deeper industry partnerships, and a culture grounded in trusted, human connection."
Hunterlink has said that "nothing changes for clients" during the transition and that it will "keep our community informed as the search for our next CEO progresses".
