LEARNING through gaming as well as podcasts and masterclasses are features of a training platform introduced by Etihad Cargo.

The platform is said to be the air cargo industry’s first logistics training community developed by an airline, seeking to deliver courses and accredited certifications for professionals across the international air cargo sector.

It has been established to ensure consistent operational, safety, and compliance standards across Etihad Cargo’s global partner network.

Through standardised knowledge deployment, the platform protects service quality at every touchpoint, strengthens risk management, and ensures operational alignment across Etihad Cargo’s global network, safeguarding the reliability and customer trust that define the carrier's service standards.

Serving Etihad Cargo representatives and stakeholders, partners, customers, and air cargo professionals worldwide, the platform provides training designed to strengthen engagement through targeted skills development.

The curriculum also covers Etihad Cargo operating standards, product and service framework, safety and compliance modules aligned with international regulations.

Via a program of foundation courses, podcasts, masterclasses, and executive education programs such as a ‘mini MBA’, the Excellence Hub awards users with accredited certifications upon successful completion.

Etihad Airways chief cargo officer Stanislas Brun said the first logistics training academy established by an airline represented “a significant step forward in how we approach knowledge, capability, and service quality across our global network”.

“By bringing together operational expertise, industry knowledge, and accredited learning pathways in one platform, the Excellence Hub will help raise capability standards across the global air cargo ecosystem,” Mr Brun said.

Chief people and corporate affairs officer at Etihad Airways, Nadia Al Bastaki, said the company was “committed to investing in people, and the Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub is a testament to this commitment”.

“By providing accessible learning opportunities and a platform for knowledge sharing, Etihad Cargo aims to enhance the capabilities of those entering and advancing within the air cargo industry,” Dr Al Bastaki said.

“The Excellence Hub will facilitate professional development and enhance operational excellence, customer service, and efficiency.”

According to a company statement, The Excellence Hub forms part of Etihad Cargo's broader commitment to safety, compliance, operational excellence and workforce development.
