MANAGEMENT at Port of Hastings are seeking further feedback before finalising their Port Development Strategy 2055.
A draft document has just been released for public feedback.
The draft strategy outlines a 30-year framework to guide the port’s development in achieving its vision of being an essential and sustainable part of Victoria’s economy and energy transition.
Five key strategies underpin the Port of Hastings 2055 vision:

According to management, the draft PDS is a statutory document shaped by industry, government and community engagement during the previous two years.
Port of Hastings sought feedback from key stakeholders and the community in 2024 to inform the draft PDS.
“You now have an opportunity to review the document to see how your previous feedback has shaped the PDS,” Hastings management stated.
“Feedback gathered through the public surveys, stakeholder discussions, briefings and technical engagement was analysed and where appropriate incorporated into the draft PDS.”
