Key appointment strengthens INFORM's presence down under

AI OPTIMISATION solutions provider INFORM Australia has announced the appointment of Gary Van Tassel as its director of sales, terminal and distribution centre logistics for Australia and New Zealand.

In a company statement, Mr Van Tassel was described as a “terminal and distribution centre specialist” who brings extensive experience in terminal operations and distribution centre logistics.

He is expected to focus on identifying strategic opportunities across the region while helping customers optimise logistics operations via software solutions.

"Gary's appointment reflects our commitment to expanding our presence in the Australia and New Zealand markets," said INFORM Australia chief executive Paul Flachskampf.

"His deep understanding of terminal and distribution centre operations, combined with his proven track record in the logistics sector, makes him ideally positioned to help our clients navigate the increasingly complex demands of modern supply chain management."

Mr Van Tassel's responsibilities extend beyond the Asia-Pacific region, encompassing support for the markets of North and South America.
