Ofload appoints former WiseTech executive

DIGITAL freight provider Ofload has announced the appointment of Harmen Fredrikze as its new chief financial officer.

According to a statement published online, Harmen Fredrikze has more than two decades of experience with global technology and software companies and joins after finishing up at WiseTech Global where he was group financial controller.

He is said to bring “deep financial expertise and a proven track record of scaling operations in high-growth environments”.

Previously he was acting CFO and group controller for ASX-listed software multinational Bravura Solutions.

“We’re delighted to welcome Harmen into the team. He’s led finance at some of the fastest-growing and most complex businesses in the game,” said Ofload founder and chief executive Geoffroy Henry.

“His experience will be crucial as we continue scaling with discipline and pace.”

Mr Fredrikze said he was excited to join Ofload at “a pivotal point in its growth”.

“I’m excited to join a company with such a strong mission and momentum, and to help build the next chapter alongside a highly talented team,” he said.

Harmen Fredrikze has worked across major multinationals listed on ASX, NYSE, SIX Swiss Exchange and Euronext (Milan).

He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Switzerland and held key finance roles in listed multinationals in Switzerland, before moving to Sydney.

He has a masters in economics and business administration from Maastricht University and a bachelor of Business Administration from Nyenrode University as well as being a CPA and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

The appointment is the latest key hire at Ofload, following the recent hire of Dean Newman, former director at Woolworths Group, as chief operating officer.
