DAVIES Turner has elected John Adams, who previously spent five years in the company’s sales development sector, as head of trade in its ocean management team.

After seven years at the shipping line, MSC, Mr Adams is returning to Davis Turner, the freight forwarding and logistics services provider, to take up the position as ocean freight manager.

Davies Turner chairman Phillip Stephenson said Mr Adams was a worthy appointment.

“John is an experienced senior manager with a strong sales record in ocean freight forwarding,” Mr Stephenson said.

In this role as head of trade in Davies Turner’s Middle East, Indian Sub-Continent, South African and emerging markets, Mr Adams replaces Todd Moore.

“As the UK’s leading independent forwarding company, we work in partnership with an extensive range of container shipping lines across the globe to deliver efficient, high quality international ocean freight consolidation services,” Mr Stephenson said.
