MAIN functionalities appear to be back to normal on the e-commerce sites of French liner company CMA CGM.

This follows the recent malware attack on CMA CGM and some of its subsidiaries including ANL.

In a statement released this week, the company said their e-commerce sites were “once again live with all their main functionalities up and running”.

“Applications and essential functionalities are now operational and secured to offer CMA CGM Group customers the level of service to which they are accustomed,” the company stated.

“All communications to and from the CMA CGM Group are secure, including emails, transmitted files and electronic data interchanges.”

All agencies as well as the back-office are said to be fully operational.

“The CMA CGM Group would like to thank its customers and partners for their understanding, their trust and their support,” the company stated.”

Container Transport Alliance Australia director Neil Chambers said the overall impact upon the Australian transport sectored “was relatively minimal in the end”.

“Early days in the outage some importers couldn’t get their delivery orders issued by ANL, which delayed the landside supply chain for those containers,” he said.

“But, in the end, it wasn’t a big deal as ANL worked hard behind the scenes to recover.”
