ST GEORGE chief economist Besa Deda headlines a list of experts speaking at an Industry Insights Forum for transport and Logistics.

To be held on Wednesday 19 August, the forum is being organised by the newly-formed International Forwarders and Customs Brokers Association of Australia.

In her role as chief economist Besa Deda is the bank’s economic spokesperson and is responsible for all of the Bank’s economic and capital markets research.

Also speaking will be IFCBAA vice chairman and Cable International director Adam Butler and IFCBAA chief executive Paul Damkjaer.

This session will focus on:

  • The nature and shape of economic recovery and a renewed outlook for the Australian transport and logistics sector as the impact of the COVID pandemic continues to be felt.
  • Supply chain dependency and opportunities for the transport and logistics industry in the context of COVID and what comes next.
  • Diversification of International supply chains post COVID.
