PORT of Melbourne recently finished installing new 150-tonne bollards at Swanson Dock East and West to accommodate bigger ships.

This $8.5m project was engineered by AECOM and completed by lead contractor McConnell Dowell.

The 20 bollards were installed over a 15 month construction period.
