PORT of Brisbane CEO Roy Cummins announced in August that he would step down from the top role at the port.

Mr Cummins had been at the helm of Queensland’s biggest port for six years. In his parting statement, Mr Cummins said he was proud of the team he had built and led. He also pointed to the delivery of several major capital projects around the port.

Port of Brisbane’s chief financial officer Neil Stephens stepped into the CEO role in an acting capacity. At the end of 2021, Mr Stephens is still in the role.
