SYDNEY Harbour ferry services had to be cancelled on Tuesday morning as wild weather turned the normally calm Port Jackson into a heaving, churning water monster.

Footage of the angry seas was captured, apparently by a staff member of one of the ferries, as the vessel engaged in a difficult crossing.

“Sydney Ferries are not running (between) Manly and Circular Quay due to the large swell,” an unnamed official was quoted as saying by Yahoo News.

More windy conditions are expected in Sydney on Wednesday before fining up later in the working week.
