One of the industry's most anticipated nights — the Care Factor Christmas in July Ball, was held this year at the Hyatt Regency in Sydney on Friday 31 July.

The Grand Ballroom, complete with Christmas trees and festive decorations was packed — both with industry representatives and plenty of generous spirit — as the amount raised climbed close to $100,000 over the course of the night.

Established in 2018, the Care Factor Ball committee — comprising Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA), Next Leap Training Solutions, Orange Lime Consulting and Compliant Group — selects a different charity each year. This year's recipient was Reboot Mindset Academy.

Founded by former National Rugby League players Mitchell Pearce and Todd Carney, Reboot Mindset Academy delivers programs for people of all ages, with a strong emphasis on youth development. The organisation believes 'resilience is built before chaos, not during it' placing a strong focus on early intervention to equip young people with the confidence, resilience and life skills needed to navigate future challenges.

Speaking at the event, the team shared stories of young lives transformed through their programs. Some participants have faced significant adversity and are working to rebuild their confidence and future, while others receive support much earlier, helping them develop the resilience and positive foundations that can prevent them from reaching crisis point.

After a robust live auction, guests were treated to a live band, headed up by the evening's MC Wayne Pearce and danced the night away, in celebration of a successful night of networking and fundraising.
