TRANSPORT operators using the Port of Melbourne have an opportunity to prepare drivers and stakeholders for the opening of West Gate Tunnel (WGT) in December by attending a webinar from 10am to 11am (ADST) this coming Friday, 28 November.
Hosted by Freight Victoria, the webinar is to provide important updates on the tunnel project, including heavy vehicle tolling, new truck routes, no-truck zones and how to get information.
Speakers in the webinar include Paul Smith from Major Road Projects Victoria, Eli Goodhardt from WGT operator Transurban, Shane Taylor from Freight Victoria and Christopher Pirpiris from Department of Transport and Planning – Inner Metro.
